My name is Cédric Raguenaud. I'm a software engineer/network administrator. I did a PhD at Napier University (Department of Computing, Merchiston campus), Edinburgh (55.95N 3.21W), in databases.

I've lived in Edinburgh between 1996 and 2003, and I really enjoyed the city and Scotland in general. It is a very beautiful country and the people are so friendly (which is so strange when you come from Paris). See my photos if you don't believe me. I now live in Aberdeen (57.13N 2.12W).

Like any good geek, I made my Geek Code Block that can give you some information on my real deep self. I've also generated my PGP keys, although I don't use PGP often (I'm used to live in countries where crypto is considered as war ammunition, thus mostly illegal). In the old times when I had plenty of time to spare, I used to play computer games (I spent a few nights on DOOM, D3D, and Quake, but that's addiction) and read a few books. I now restrict my leasure time to more interesting activities (?) such as mapping networks, reporting on the internet's weather, or developing open source projects.
