As you may have noticed, I'm French. I was born in Angoulême
in Charente (a part of Poitou-Charentes) on the 03/10/1974.
I moved to Paris when I was 1 (well, in fact, my parents moved, and
I had to follow them).
I 've been in primary school at Franc Nohain B primary school (Paris).
Later, I've been in College Jean-Lurcat (Villejuif, near Paris).
For my high school, I've been in Lycee Claude Monet (Paris).
After my baccalaureat (maths, biology) with merit (yes!), I went to Ecole
Superieure d'Informatique (Montreuil), a computer engineering school.
Finally, I'm here in Edinburgh, doing a PhD in Object-Oriented Databases after my
MSc in the same area.
Well, the question I always hear: is Paris a great city to live. The answer
is: yes and no. Yes because like any very big city, there is always something
to do and every thing is under hand at any time. No because there is too
much people that are really not friendly. When I go back in france for
holidays, I feel threaten by the people around me (when I use my car and
even when I walk in the street where hunting pedestrians is a appreciated
sport).
Here's a subway map of Paris:
